Went to a Class last night!

Decided to go to the local scrapbook store and take a class last night.  I needed to get some creative juices flowing!  So I headed to Millersville to a store called Great Scraps.  I was so happy to find a gem right in my backyard!  This store was full of the latest trends and full of creativity!  I took "Jillibean with Jen" last night to learn how to create celeb designer Jen Chesnick's 4 page layout with paper from the Jillibean line.  Jen was a great teacher and full of creativity!  I am so lucky to meet such awesome crafters in my travels!  Jen is on many design manufacture teams and is currently published in the latest issue of Scrapbook Trends...  I look forward to scraping and socializing with her in the new year!  Here is my final product...

ofcourse I distressed it... Jen did not... her's looked crisp and clean!... although I did go out of my box by keeping the letters straight!  I don't normally like straight letters, cause I obsess on if they are truly straight!  I also learned how to sew on my page... something I have wanted to do....um... FOREVER!... so I am super happy to sew on my layouts and cards now!... watch out this could be like my distressing habit!?

I also worked on a card for the Ft Meade card swap... although I am not happy with it... I will play around a little more till I figure one out... let's be honest, it will be next Friday the day before the swap till I figure it out!... I am too indecisive!  But the more I sit and craft the happier I will get with my work!... I am rusty... someone get me some WD-40?!
